Why must you leave me here shattered and bleeding
figure that with your knife fit snug and securely in place
that eventually my body will lie still, not breathing
As a memoir of our time together, you'll frame my face
using razor blades and bullet casings
the salts of my tears flow into these wounds
overwhelming the nerve endings with waves of searing pain
cut my heart's strings and my nerves' lacings
As I lay here null and void
I only hear as you walk away
with victim's eyes in hand.
